Turning 30 has its ups and downs.

Best narrator ever!

Love Kristan Higgins - great story as usual. The actual storytelling was excellent! Xe Sands is the best narrator and I always include her in a search for a new audiobook - the performance deserves way more than 5 stars!⭐️❤️

It took me a while to warm up...

... To this book, but once I did, I loved it! It made me laugh and cry. Great story

Loved it

I've loved all the books I've read from this author. No great mysteries. No global crises. No murders, dismemberment or other violence. No zombies or aliens. Stories about life and people-and so very sweet.

A wonderful surprise

I listen to an lot of books and most are okay or even good. Some are so bad I end up thinking, is the story that is terrible or the narrator. Rarely though, do I find a book that is great. Funny and sad, lively and witty, and with characters that aren't two dimensional.
This story was pretty good and the narration was great. There were so many laugh so hard the people around me think I'm nuts moments in the book. These were made all the better in how they were read. Quick, but not rushed, with great inflection.
Anyways, give it a listen, you won't be disappointed.

All I Ever Wanted

I had such a great time listening to this one and laughing my way through it. Callie turns 30 and her boss breaks up with her and her mother throws her a birthday party at the family funeral home. What else could go wrong? How about the meeting the new vet who is better with animals than people and we have a hit. Add in the crazy relatives and what more could you ask for. Definitely a recommendation from me!
