Being one of the guys isn't all it's cracked up to be. So when journalist Chastity O'Neill returns to her hometown, she decides it's time to start working on some of those feminine wiles. Two tiny problems: one - she's five feet and 11 inches of rock-solid girl power; two - she's cursed with four alpha-male older brothers.

While doing a story on local heroes, she meets a hunky doctor, and things start to look up. Now there's only one problem: Trevor Meade, her first love and the one man she's never quite gotten over -although he seems to have gotten over her just fine. Yet the more time she spends with Dr. Perfect, the better Trevor looks. But even with the in-your-face competition, the irresistible Trevor just can't seem to see Chastity as anything more than just one of the guys....

Just One of the Guys

Such a sweet and fun friends to lovers story. Although some of the circumstances of their relationships aren’t the sweetest or the most fun, overall the big loving family, the quirky parents, the childhood history wraps you right into the story.

I love all of the narrations I’ve listened to by Xe Sands. Def at the top of my faves.

Loved the story and the narrator was great. This is the 1st Xe Sands book I have heard and I am definitely searching for more.

I loved this book !!!!

Easy listening, great fun story. A lot of Humor in every chapter, which I love this from Kristan Higgins. She always makes you laugh out loud as she portrays how these characters think without saying it out loud.
This family of brothers and then there’s Chasity, the only girl and has to endure all of the kidding.
Her love is Trevor from childhood and she doesn’t know why he won’t give in to her, but very slowly she starts to move forward and tries her best to get Trevor out of her mind. You know whatever she does won’t work.
I love the family drama, the funniest and awkward moments she has to go through and the ending is handkerchief worthy. Don’t miss this, it’s wonderful as XE Sands is wonderful as the narrator.

Not sure when a book had me laughing one moment and crying the next - thoroughly enjoyed this listen from start to finish!

Great read

This is a very sweet, funny, and heartwarming book. It is a great beach read or a fun book to listen to while traveling.
