A very cute story with all of the Meet Cute/Revenge/HEA you love and some pretty spicy sexual encounters. Spicy, not gross. Loved this.

A fun second-chance holiday romance!

I really liked it!

Jessica is trying to come up with a new book idea and balancing her barista job at the coffee shop when she receives an email from her agent inviting her to present this year's Romance author award to her rival (and ex) Nick Mathews at the upcoming Holiday gala. Jessica hasn’t seen Nick since he broke up with her 5 years ago and broke her heart. She wants to refuse to do it, but her agent says it’s a great opportunity for her career and not doing it isn’t an option.

Jessica barely makes it to the awards gala on time to present the award as she has to weather the beginning of a snow storm on her way. There’s a reservation mix up at the Inn where everyone is staying and Jessica and Nick are forced to interact for the first time since their break-up.

I love a good dual POV and getting Nick and Jessica’s stories endeared me to both! The story pulled me in immediately and I was unable to put it down!

This was a perfect feel good story for the season. It was exactly what I was looking for.

No story, all smut. Was hoping for a cozy Christmas novel, this is not it.

DNF-waste of a credit

I bought this on a whim after audible played a preview when I finished another book. I was looking for something light and easy and whimsical to round out the year with a Christmas theme. I couldn’t get through the abruptly inserted (pardon the pun) sex scenes that appeared throughout. I kept going far longer than I wanted to because I didn’t want to just be prudish, but if I am, I am. I couldn’t make myself suffer through any more of it. The rekindled romance was not a shocker. It was the narrative that you expect will transpire, but the abrupt transitions from Hallmark movie to 50 Shades just left me wondering what the hell I was doing with my life wasting my time on this. So I cut it and poured out an eggnog for the spent credit.
