When an unexpected inheritance forces two total opposites to work together, Lexie must decide if Theo is going to push her out—or pull her in for the kiss of a lifetime—in this heartwarming holiday novel from the author of Always, in December and One Last Gift

When Lexie learns of her father’s death, she doesn’t know how to feel; they’ve barely spoken in the last ten years. And she’s even more confused when she discovers he’s left her half of his holiday travel company, a successful niche business specializing in trips that explore the holiday traditions of cultures all over the world.

Meanwhile, the other half of the company has been left to her father’s handsome but bad-tempered young executive, Theo. And the will stipulates that the two of them must find a way to run the company together for a year before they decide its fate.

Lexie intends to leave once the year is over, even though, as a wanderer herself, she finds the company’s mission more compelling than she first thought. And a work trip to sizzling Spain reveals a chemistry between Lexie and Theo that is impossible to deny.

There may have been some snap judgments made about each other. But mixing business and pleasure isn’t always a good idea.

Loved the pace of the story from beginning to end. The characters were well developed and I enjoyed the Irish accents of the narration. I found myself crying near the end when a letter was read. Very touching. Highly recommend.

Wonderful story. Did not want it to end.

I was a bit frustrated that Lexi ran away without letting Theo explain. thought. Theo deserves better. But then she realized he does deserve better and she can be better. Redemption arc

I loved the plot about her dad leaving her the travel company. It was different and nice that a romance came out of the story too.

This book was a pleasant surprise during the holidays. While it was a love story, it was also layered, and there were moments of learning about relationships with parents and siblings, and everyone in our lives. Great job!

it is the pure resilience of the human spirit that I finally managed to finished this awfully boring book, I seriously thought it would never be finished !!

The story is about Lexi, she is a commitment-phobe because her dad left her and her mom when she was young for another woman, but this Christmas her dad died and left her his company which makes travel groups through celebrations, the catch is she has to share the company with Theo, a guy who worked with her father and he clearly doesn't want to share the company with her, through so many trials and some conversations (I guess) they manage to fall in love and form this toxic relationship that I really couldn't understand .. only to end up at Christmas and everyone is healed somehow ..

the book had a really nice premise, but the writing style is simply boring as heck .. this is one of those books that managed to cure my insomnia and I always sleep like a baby whenever I begin reading it .. I really didn't care for a single character in the book specially the dad may he rot in hell ..so yeah .. so glad this is finally over

BORING AS HECK !!!
