I love this quote: “Be the change you want to see in the world,” so it took my full attention when I listened to this audiobook. Losing weight is a journey with a lot of ups and downs. Knowing how to maintain your weight after a significant transformation is crucial. The steps provided in this book help me keep my weight, especially when I am always trying new diets and new exercise routines. I am now recommending this book to you.

I really enjoyed this book, though I was slightly surprised at the content in comparison to its description. Yes, it gives you everything you need, but it’s much less about weight loss plans and much more about cultivating your own “inner mountain man” — the person that will take responsibility and bring about the achievement of your health and fitness goals.

When I say I thought the book was different from the description, what I mean is that it doesn’t really get into the details of what to eat and when. Instead, it focuses on the foundations of health — accepting where you are right now and taking responsibility for your current state.

It does briefly cover diet plans, but the message is more on the “take responsibility and adhere to the basic principles” side of things. To be honest, I actually think that’s more helpful than pushing a specific diet plan because it shows that any of us, no matter what food preferences we have, can achieve what we desire. It just takes a little discipline, and this book thoughtfully reminds us of that.

I've read many books on weight loss, and this one is more on the point that most. This book starts at the beginning and goes through more advanced strategies. The examples are good and are relevant. The book is not overly long; the length is about right. It would have been nice to have a resource PDF, but that is minor. This book is a good listen is worth your time.

Easy to listen to and comprehensive guide to weight loss. If you're someone that is on a journey to losing weight and getting in better shape, I highly recommend this one. It's helped me keep a few pounds off during the summer time. Thank you Tony Rich!

This book has got me fired up now that I know EXACTLY what to do. I'm over 50 and losing weight has been getting more difficult as I age. Thanks to this book, now I know why, and what to do about it. The author not only gives you the science behind it, but he tells you the practical advice on how to put it to work.

I am now recommending this audiobook to my family and friends. Great book for anyone who wants to lose weight the healthy way and lose it forever.
