Will she, or won't she....

Studious and sensible, the only thing Molly Wakefield wants to do is get through senior year and graduate. That, and hit the beach in her spare time. Maybe even read a book or two. And things are going great—until the day she catches Weston McGrath, handsome star athlete and scholar, spying on her in study hall.

A tad creepy? Maybe. Thrilling? Absolutely. Why? Because Weston McGrath is one guy no one can get close to.

Despite her best efforts to avoid him, Molly and Weston form an unlikely friendship. But it's a friendship that comes with a price—because Weston cannot seem to stop screwing up. Saying and doing all the wrong things. And who has time for an 18-year-old "fixer-upper" who should know better? Not Molly.

Contains mature themes.

It was a very short read. It didn't feel done. I thought I was only half way through when I hit the epilogue.

Pretty elementary but the narration was good, with the material provided. A lot of overdone smack talk. Tries to hard. Most exciting moment: cameo from Gundersen from the “Douchebag” series, LOL.

I’m a HUGE Sara Ney fan, but this was rated maybe PG13, with almost zero heat. The male narrator was truly one of the worst I’ve ever heard. I’m pretty bummed I used a credit on it actually. The characters were not very believable and I’m just surprised this is the same author I’ve loved so much in her other books.

Not her best

I wasn't expecting this to be a high school love story (though the epilogue does extend into college). I tend to prefer college romances over high school romances because there seems a greater chance for relationship permanency and therefore believability. Regardless, this was a really cute story and both Molly and Weston were relatively mature for seniors in high school it seemed. I am currently partway through He Kissed Me First and Molly and Wes are still going strong, so that's a definite plus.

High school romance.

This was a sweet and sassy fun little coming of age story. I enjoyed the characters and the narration was done well even if Cendese has trouble with the female characters,
