Feels Like AI

The writing, and BOTH narrators feel like AI. The cadence of the dialogue is weird. The word choices are more than just quirky - they’re awkward. In the reading, sometimes the affected voices of the characters changes drastically. The narrators are so unbelievable that at one point during a “steamy” interaction I literally laughed out loud at how awkward it was.

Good Audiobook

Alpha Male Shifter, under estimated Female Fated Mate. Misunderstood actions, aggressive competition, enemy attacks and deception, loyalty of pack and friends, love and loss. It is all in this book.

I should’ve read it

It was a good story but I couldn’t get into it because I didn’t like the narrators at all. I think Jo would’ve enjoyed it more if I read it.

Not a real standalone.

The narrators were really good. The story was good as well. The problem that I had with this book was that there are several side plots that don’t get resolved and a lot of them are very important. This book is not a stand alone if more than romance matters to you.

The curse

They brought up the omega power three times never came to a conclusion. So never very often ended. There were a couple chapters of Kane that was completely unnecessary. But it was good. 7/10
