the monotone virtual voice is awful

the book description makes it sound like a fast paced thriller; the virtual voice makes it feel like being scraped across a brick wall. the characters all sound alike, they have no depth.

Automated narration was terrible

Story was just okay. I’m typically very tolerant of the narration. Not with this book…the automation is without conversational cadence and emotion. It was hard to get through.

Great story overall! I did not expect the random plot twists.

AI narrator - 10/10 do not recommend - if you can make it through the AI voice then you have yourself a pretty solid read/listen ;)

The twists in the story

This could have been such an amazing book. The narration ruined it and I hope this virtual narration doesn’t become a thing.
