Ancestral Veneration

This is an overall good book for those not only interested in Afro Caribbean religions but also in ancestor veneration. I will caution potential listeners that there will be some discrepancies between the information presented in this book and other Afro-Caribbean religious houses.

Brilliant audible

I like the way the writer connects with her audience as a real person with real struggles. It is not easy for an African-American to begin the process of incorporating indigenous traditions and heritage all the while not being quite sure of what is relevant and valid. Brilliant audible.

Ancestral Veneration

An easy audiobook to understand, once you dive into it. I completed it in a few days. There are good finds within this book. The author attempts to give the listener insight into her background as a Christian but, felt a greater calling into Lukumi. The author informs listeners of her walk and attempts to merge the two.

Nice book, but the reader is off putting

I feel like I could get in this book more if someone else narrated it. He mispronounced a lot of words and then would say they correctly in other sentences. seems like he was just trying to hurry up and read through them.

A great start

This book was a great start for me. I'm on a path of obtaining knowledge about what I'm going through and the signs that have been shown to me. I'm still learning and this book helped with the information I've heard but not understood. I would recommend this book
