Beautifully Tragic and Utterly Devastating

This is devastating in the quietest, most beautiful way. Listening to the audiobook while reading only deepened the tragedy of Lucifer’s existence; his devotion, his longing, his inevitable fall. This story makes it impossible to ignore the truth that Michael invited that love, nurtured it, and then abandoned Lucifer when it mattered most. What a tender, cruel, and achingly sad love between the two, that was never allowed to survive. I finished it in tears. Honestly, I’m still processing, and utterly undone.

Wow I haven’t felt so enamored with a book in years

Such a compelling and ingenious story! Thank you for sharing your gift of writing with the world. This book actually helped me heal a lot of traumas as a previous christian now atheist and helped me see everything in a more curious light. The way that I was able to relate to characters and their feelings was extraordinary! Can’t wait to continue onto the next one!

SO SO AMAZING WOW

The narrator was perfect. Beautiful, immaculate. I’m in awe. The book is sickening sweet and heart wrenchingly traumatic in all the best ways imaginable. The character Lucifer means a lot to me so the in depth tale for him and his experiences before man was the scratch my itchy brain needed with this story telling!

Astounding!!

I’ve been a fan of ABM since its first publication and every evolution of the story has made it even more wonderful!! Reading the book is definitely a different experience than listening, but I couldn’t recommended either method over the other since they’re both so good! Lance did an outstanding job with all of the voice work as well!! Very immersive and clearly spoken, I couldn’t stop listening!! If you’re on the fence about this story, just get it lol I could not sing it praise more highly!!
