The second chapter in the life of Anne Shirley. This book follows Anne from the age of 16 to 18, during the two years that she teaches at Avonlea School. It includes many of the characters from Anne of Green Gables, as well as new ones like Mr. Harrison, Miss Lavendar Lewis, Paul Irving, and the twins Dora and Davy.

I love Anne books have read and listened to them often. This narrator was not good. He reminded me of a new libervox reader.

I loved the first book, with Rachel McAdams as the narrator. By comparison, this narrator is very monotone, with a stilted speech pattern. I could not endure it past the first few chapters. I will be sure to listen to the audio samples in the future before making a purchase.

Struggled with the narrator. now I know why it was so cheap. there are significantly better versions out there! this is a beautiful story and I highly recommend it, just not this version.
is it just me or does it seem choppy in the first 5 minutes?? the choppy flow of the book seem to fix itself after 10 minutes but still...

Hard to listen to
