I have loved all three Anne books and was so excited to read this one. Unfortunately, the narrator sounds like a robot at some points and doesn’t necessarily do Anne justice with her emotions/inflections when speaking. It could have been better, but wasn’t too bad to make me not want to continue.

The reader of this version gives Anne a chirpy, little girl voice, even though the character is 18 years old. In addition, the reader's intonation is stilted and sing-songish, and in the 10 minutes that I was able to listen, she mispronounced several words. I had to stop listening.
