Great series. This is my second time; first I read. Audible version did not disappoint.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I am not a religious person so I was apprehensive as to how I would feel about this book. However, I was impressed with it. I put the real-life religious aspect aside and just pretended it was another story. It worked and I loved the book! The way the author built Goliath was very impressive. He made David feel very sympathetic and like an everyday person, rather than a hero. The narration was good but I did have some issues with the pacing in a few parts as well as the voices. Overall, I am very happy with this book.

Wish The Rest Was On Audible

Narration was really good. However several names were mispronounced.
As for the story, very well done! David is 19 years old, nearly 20, a beardless youth, as Scripture says. Greg Baker clearly did his homework, including recognizing that warrior soldier age in Torah was 20 years and above in Numbers 14:29. Enjoyed it...but wish the rest were on Audible!!

loved the story, the narrator not so much.

Narration ruined this book

I was so excited to start this series, it sounded so good. The story is well written and if I had read it instead of listening to the audible I would have enjoyed it much more. Unfortunately, the narrator was AWFUL! If I could have given him a zero, I would have. If I continue with this series I will read them and not buy the Audible. Darn!
