Anxiety is something I live with daily, as is depression. There are times when getting out of bed to face the day is a monumental achievement. Through the efforts of my psychiatrist and therapist I am able to face the day and all that comes along with the day's events. Yet, there's more. Far more.

I suffer through the anxiety and depression and feel I must record my thoughts, that perhaps others will find out that they are not alone. I turn these recorded thoughts into poems and place them in a little booklet, as you see here. Within these pages are my thoughts, dreams and nightmares, all spurred on by an anxiety disorder that at times I feel I have no control over. Hopefully, the words on these pages will allow others out there to know that they are not struggling alone. There are others out there, of which I am one, who at times struggles to get through a day without racing thoughts, intrusive though and fear.

You are not alone in your struggles in dealing with anxiety and depression. It is my hope that these little poems will help you to realize this fact. Perhaps you will see something of yourself or your own life in the poems residing within these pages. If I've accomplished that much, if I've brought a little peace to one soul then this book as not written in vain.
