Man is no longer a threat. Man is food.

It has always lived among us, its existence unknown or long forgotten. After a long and brutal winter, this opportunistic predator has finally awoken. Driven by hunger and forced from its territory in search of food, it leaves Wyoming’s Wind River Range for a small, sleepy town.

Jim Wendell, the Pine Creek Game and Fish warden receives the task of taking down this creature. Soon, he realizes a grizzly bear did not slaughter its victims. Something fiercer and more enormous is stalking the residents. Can Jim track this elusive predator before it claims its next victim?

An overall improvement upon the previous effort, especially the narration, which was considerably better paced & more emotive.

Nice Quick Yarn With Improved Narration

Can't wait to start the next book. The first 2 were great. I'm sure the 3rd will be just as great.

Great series

The narrator lacked inflection and tone variance. I’ve listened to better narrators than this one.

Fast Moving

The story was good, the bear was written perfectly. The People were written good, and the overall setting was perfect. The narrator was not a good choice, his voice was monotonous and everyone sounded pretty similar. The editing was not done properly, there would be cuts and the narrator would pick up the pace or change volume in areas where it was not needed or too late when it was. Another issue I had with the story is small, but it seemed to convey the thought that as Game Wardens Jim and Dale were not Law Enforcement, but mere biologists, seeming like the Sherriff would be able to hinder them however thats not the case.

Bear was done nicely

If you want this title, get the book. The narration on this book is horrible. The voice changes within the story are cringeworthy. I’m trying to get through it because I want to know the story. If I purchase anymore LJ Vitanza, it will be a hard copy.

The story would be great, but…
