This is such a beautiful book and such a wonderful reminder of the importance of being present in the moment and aware of your surroundings. The author is an excellent writer and sees and appreciates her relationship with her horse and the beauty and power of nature. So many details that I probably would have not seen, she sees. So this book is teaching me, every time I read it, to take the time and make the effort to see all the amazing world around us. It has enriched my life again and again.
