The pressure to make it into the NBA has been on Kamari's back since he could hold a basketball. Everyone else seems to want Kamari to make it more than he wants it, but he makes it. And it doesn't take long for him to learn that the pressure he felt before was nothing compared to what he feels the moment he's drafted. In his condo, he runs into an old friend that's tied to one of his teammates, and he doesn't want any drama, but he can't seem to escape it.

Pharaoh is the typical playboy. Being in the NBA grants him access to some of the most beautiful women on the planet. Most have a motive, that's one thing he knows. Until he meets Josephine. Pharaoh is intrigued by her. She refuses to act like he is the prize. The two bump heads, but he couldn't shake the beauty if he tried.

Psalm graduated from The University of Miami and followed her husband when he got picked up by the NBA. Psalm soon learned that she busted her behind for nothing because her husband doesn't think she should have a career. Psalm quits her job to become the wife that everyone else keeps telling her to be, but what happens when she finds out that her husband isn't the man she thought he was?

Male narrator

Good story but the male narrator ruined it! I’ll never pick a book if he’s reading it! Urban romance is not for him. He was so dramatic in the love scenes. Just horrible

I don't think I was supposed to laugh but the male narrator was so animated at times I couldn't help it. Overall the book was good it seems kind of rushed at the end. I still enjoyed it.

Terrible voices

I couldn’t finish listening because of the voices of the actors. The story is fire but the actors were terrible.

The male narrator was so cringe. It was hard to get through due to him. He really took away from the story. overall the story was just ok .
