Avalee's Gift by Linda Apple is an incredible listen. There are so many things I loved about the story and characters. Age doesn't matter in this book, nor does color. The author was incredible with the imagery, the descriptions, the details, and making some very endearing characters and relationships. I loved how self sacrificing Avalee was in this book. The storyline was very heartwarming. Terri England was magical bringing the characters to life. She has the best voice for a southern character.

This book is about showing to the person you love that it conquers all with the help of your close friends. These ladies are so close to each other that are ready to cheer each one another.

Entertaining

Linda Apple is a relatively new author to me as is the narrator Terri England who again did a fabulous job of narrating the characters in a variety of voices and this added to my listening pleasure.

I love the absolute love and support these women give to one another as they each take a chance on finding love again.

This book is Avalee Preston and Ty Jackson’s story and one I really enjoyed. Not only is Ty, twelve years younger than Avalee, he is also the brother of her dead fiancee.
 
Can Avalee and Ty’s relationship withstand his parents resentment or are they destined to be alone forever?

This book drew me in and kept me entertained throughout.
