Great start!

Lissa and Tank meeting and getting together is what introduced me to this author and this series. I am a huge fan of shifter stories. I am not Sure how I missed reading these but I will be remedying that. I enjoy the characters the humor and the story.

So much fun getting to meet this crew. They all have quirky personalities. They are going to be interesting in the coming books.
I also didn’t realize they were from previous stories by this author. I will have to check out her other series.

Bad Blood Bear

I liked the witty humor and dysfunction between the characters of the Bad Blood crew and the main characters. The story was well written and well paced.

Good old love story

The whole cult thing had me reading this because what?! This was such a good story and their make shift pack is hilarious. Definitely makes you want to read on and see how the others pan out.

Fun with serial killer jokes

It’s not necessary to start with the original Silverlake Shifter or Silverlake Enforcer series to enjoy this. In fact, I think it might be better to start here because the angst to camp ratio is much better. Lyssa is a feisty girl on the run and Tank a natural born protector (even if that feels like he’s a serial killer) The found family of rag tag shifters was fun too. And sure, the villainous backstory and conflict felt tacked on, but the most important parts are the feel good romance and HEA anyway.
