SPOILER ALERT!

I truly enjoyed the individuality of the numerous characters in this story. I usually love a good vigilante story, and while this certainly is that, it's a little strange to have so many killings done, and with such gusto, by resident doctors! However, I did enjoy the storyline and felt that Patrick Lawlor did a great job with the narration. I will definitely purchase more books by James Cohoon!

Story problems

I listened to this book over the last couple of days. There were story problems from the start. Tori and Matthew had lack of conscience in some situations, and predictable actions in others. The narrator was great, though.

It just gets more and more intricate!

I really liked the book, but I'm afraid that plot got a little too involved and intricate – not that I have any ideas as to what should be different. The characters were still amusing and likable.
I got a feeling that the stereotypes of bad government and uncaring government officials was too exaggerated and painted a consistently negative picture! Don't get me wrong; I do believe that there are many uncaring individuals in government, but it's irresponsible to not recognize that there ARE a lot of responsible people, too, and to paint them all with the black brush is incorrect and ignores the fact that many people do their best to make things, for the population at large, both fair and reasonable!

bad Book!

The entire premise of this book is immature and in believable. Whoever in healthcare helped this author with the rudimentary medical facts should be ashamed of themself. Don’t waste your time or money on this one.

Mediocre

Story was so so. But Edwina was nauseating. I’ll never listen to another Cohoon book. I hate when a book has a woke agenda. Edwina was NOT, nor can he ever be a “she”. Hormones, surgery, makeup , clothes, do not make a woman. HE still has male DNA.
