"Resonance" is supposed to be a dream - that's when your soulmate is chosen for you. And everyone on the ice planet has hooked up with a big, hunky soulmate of their own...except me. So do I want a mate? Heck, yeah. More than anything, all I've ever wanted is to be loved by someone. Except that the soulmate chosen for me?

My least favorite person on the darn ice planet: Haeden's the most cranky, disapproving, unpleasant, overbearing male alien...so why is it that my body sings when he gets close? Why is he working so hard to prove to me that he's not as awful as I think he is? I hate him...don't I?

Contains mature themes.

I love Ruby’s series of Ice Planet Barbarians. I have read with Kindle & listened with Audible to all of them. I am amazed at the excellent work Ruby has put into every story she writes! I enjoy every character she creates and weaves her “magic” to make the stories come alive! In Audible, the narrators are true actors playing the parts of the tribe members and rescued Earth women! They make the story so believable! I will continue to read and listen to this series over & over! Thank you Ruby!

Wonderful story! Great ending!

In the earlier books I like Josie's friendly optimistic personality. In this book she is cruel, whiney and selfish. I understand that she wasn't particularly fond of Haeden, but she knew when she accepted her khui that her mate would be chosen for her. When she finds out it's Haeden she treats him like shit. He does everything he can to make her happy but she twists everything he says or does to make him feel bad. When he says he'll give her time to get used to things before they get physical she screams at him to "not put this on her". And after he tells his story she wants him to go with her to get their khuis replaced. If that is not selfish asshole enough to do to him, it also puts other hunters in danger to have to hunt the enormous creature to get a new one. I could rant on and on about the bitch that is Josie, but I won't. I adore Haeden. Although he's grumpy and a bit withdrawn because of his history, I love the person he is. I wish his POV was the only one in this book. I would still hate Josie, but not having to hear her thoughts would have made this book much more enjoyable. Hollie Jackson and Mason Lloyd did an excellent job! Mason Lloyd is my favorite male narrator. I have never been disappointed in any narration he's done.

Josie is a selfish B!TCH!!!
