Keep the tissues handy

I’d read and loved this story in print. Audio about did me in.
WOW! Jesse’s story was everything I could have hoped for. This story will have you glimpsing the bowels of hell. Jesse isn’t the only one who has spent time there but it has cost him in scars, PTSD and the woman he loves. In this story we see him crawl from the dregs back into the light and it is a heck of a trip. Keep the tissues handy.

Recommended but best read in series order.

I liked this second chance story. It seems to center more around healing emotionally & psychologically with a side of danger. Other background stories continue while this second chance story is the main focus.

There are some possible trigger points involving torture & rape.

The narration was excellent.
