Book 3 of Knights of White - but can be read as a standalone!

Sarah is a mortal who hears the voices of spirits. Driven by tragedy, she chases sightings, investigating the supernatural. Called to Nowhere, Texas, she finds not ghosts, but terrible danger...and demons.

A soldier in the war between good and evil, Max is one of the oldest demons, stained by centuries of darkness, fighting to keep others safe without hope for himself.

Betrayal and loss haunt both of them, keeping them from finding peace. And yet to save an entire town, Max and Sarah must do the impossible: let go of the past, and find a future with each other.

Love is their only weapon. Nowhere is the battleground. This is their last chance.

Overall it was a nice story. I enjoy how old are the characters develop throughout the story. The book was good till the end of the book. There was someone doing the credit who had a clear speech impediment. There’s nothing wrong with having a speech impediment however when doing voice recording if there is a problem with the voice usually there is editing or music playing to fix this.

Who did the credit?!

I am so glad these two finally solidified their relationship. Thank goodness. Now these two don't have to sit around feeling guilty anymore.

I believe this would have to be my favorite book in this series thus far. Max is being tested, and I promise your emotions will be all over the place during his journey. Max is faced with a foe he has no experience in fighting and joins forces with an unexpected supernatural hunter team. I’m now so addicted to this series!! It gets better with each book ❤️

I'm trying to like this book, but there are some really strange fixations. McDonald's? really? coke/Pepsi? who funded the writing of this book? odd. I forced myself to finish this book. the plot was great, had a feel like The Stand. however what really bugged me was that the author didn't let my imagination fill in the details. the author forced me to see or think about unnecessary details like I can't think for myself, like I'm some dumb reader who can't understand we stop for food and got burgers, but needed to know specifically what everyone got, where they ate, and what they drank. gee thanks for making me feel stupid in writing. innuendo that seemed obvious through conversation or action were also spelled out for the dumb readers. 🙄 there were also times that either the narrative or the dialog didn't fit. he's 400 years old, but uses modern vernacular was distracting. Or narrative that broke the feel of the book, part of the annoying over explaining, but wasn't in the spirit of the main plot. you could hear her voice coming through in juxtapose to the character's personality or the character of the plot.
