The book provides a good accounting of Potter’s life and provides appropriate context for events & experiences. I think Patricia Routledge’s narration is excellent.

I am a big fan of Beatrix Potter - listening to it made for a very enjoyable trip in my car.

Beatrix Potter was an artist and so much more!

The author presents a straightforward yet inspiring recount of Beatrix Potter's life and legacy. I commend her for not adding unnecessary padding in the writing of this book. Instead she has let Beatrix Potter's life speak for itself. My enjoyment of the book was further enhanced by Patricia Routledge's excellent narration. Here I learned that Beatrix Potter was a remarkable, unconventional woman with many talents. Her deep love of nature and animals was interwoven into them all.
