From international bestselling author Anthony Horowitz (Midsummer murders, Foyles war, Alex Rider, Hawthorne) and Sarah Naughton, comes a trilogy featuring one of literatures most famous characters. Immerse yourself in the world of Sherlock Holmes, like you have never heard it before. The Red Circle, is the first installment of the trilogy 'Becoming Sherlock', set in a dystopian London in the near future. At the same time as a passenger plane goes down in central London, Dr. Watson finds a man naked and beaten on the street. The man has no memory of his past but seems to have exceptional skills of deduction. This is the start of a mystery that unravels rapidly with one burning question at its heart: Who is Sherlock Holmes? What listeners have said: -- 'Tremendous read, a unique time and setting for Mr Holmes and Doc Watson. Well worth a read. Loved it all. A unique take on the Holmes canon for sure, beautifully written and narrated. Answers questions I’ve always had. Scary setting especially in today’s times.
Ready for the next one!

Didn’t see a lot of that coming!

I must admit, I’m a bit of a Sherlock purest. I honestly never thought anyone could capture SirArthur Conan Doyle‘s voice as well as Laurie King. I was totally wrong. This was brand new perspective of Sherlock and Dr. Watson that set in the not so far away future.

The story itself was fantastic and captured me within the first page. Even though it’s set in the future, the story was not sci-fi or unbelievable, it was fantastic. The performance of the reader was also spot on. When he spoke Sherlock’s words, it was as if I was hearing the actual Sherlock.

I am looking forward to the next two books that the author has planned for this trilogy. I am only sad that it is going to be a trilogy and not a multi book series.

A fresh new Sherlock

The story is exceptional, engaging delivery by Enoch. Anxiously awaiting more in this series. The futuristic Holmes is an unexpected twist on one of my favorite characters.

The narrators voice is fantastic

Didn’t know what to expect when the premise of the book unfolded. But as a Horowitz fans, I kept faith. Turns out to be a wonderful reimagining of the Holmes story, told in a way only the best minds could. Definitely worth the listen.

Against the odds, a brilliant reboot

Great story. Not doing too much. Or over the top. True to the characters. I really liked the dystopian version of the future, so realistic especially in the USA Today.

Unexpectedly good!!
