Great beginning prequel for the series

Loved this book and I loved the narrator. Book 4 of this series has a new narrator but I missed the narrator who was in these first three as it made it seem like a whole different book series instead of continuation of the original series. I bought and listened to the whole series to see how it ended though. I love reading all the prepper information before it all becomes violent and chaos (my least favorite part). I could listen to pre-apocalypse preparing stories all day long. I liked how they included their best friends and the neighbor to make a solid prepared plan together. I’d like to read more books with the emphasis on that part of the PA stories. Loved loved loved this narrator!

Gotta know the whole story

When I enjoy a series as I have enjoyed this series, I like to know more about the characters, their personalities, their background, experiences, and why they made the decisions they did to become the person they are. This book explains the main characters' progression into becoming a "prepper" and why the family had the mediocre preps they had when 5hit hit the fan. Because the audio is so short I think it is a little expensive, but I liked the series and am glad I purchased the book.

Therr wasn't enough material for a book. Very very short. the ending was very abrupt. I was expecting more of a story.

Fake Southern Accent!

The story line seemed to be an exaggerated spoof, on a stereo typical southern working class couples paranoia induced “Prepping”. Why the ridiculous fake southern coastal accent from the 19th century? If I tried to convince anyone in a serious nature to listen to this story for an introduction to being prepared for a extended emergency scenario, most would think it to be a skit off of “Saturday Night Live” making fun of those of us that take this serious.

Cannot put it down

Fantastic book! I cannot wait for more from this author. I very much liked book 0.5 and will recommend it to friends
