Soooo good!

This was such a great story! I absolutely loved the start to this series. Eric ended up being so sweet and awesome... loved it.

Loved this one!

At the beginning, I thought this was going to be the typical bully romance, but this story really got to me. I loved the relationship in this one so much and loved watching the main characters grow! Seriously, don't miss this book! It is really good: well narrated, well told and well written.

Enjoyable Bully Romance read

This book was an enjoyable bully high school romance listen that kept my attention. The perfect set up of two characters who are on opposite sides of the tracks. Maddie is trying to go to school and take care of her siblings and then has to deal with Eric and his cruel ways. Eric is the perfect alpha bully who is picking on Maddie and then gets what he never knew he needed. Their relationship has a lot of pull, banter, and just a level of tenderness that creates for an incredible read/listen.

I think the narrator did a good job reading the story and giving the characters some depth.

I highly enjoyed this audiobook. It wasn't exactly what I thought it would be. The humor scattered throughout this book is just great. It balances the seriousness of some of the other issues. I would consider this a New Adult book since it has some mature material, but, I liked it better that way. 😉
Lee Wuest does a surprisingly successful job narrating both male and female voices.
The cat jumped several times since I laughed loudly a few times, but I think she gives it paws up, too. 🐱🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
