From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Ashley Jade comes an edgy, enemies-to-lovers standalone romance about mistakes, forgiveness, and second chances.

He was the talented bad boy everyone wanted. I was the irrelevant geek everyone hated.

He was the sun...drawing all of us in. I was a black hole...taking up space. He was destined to be a star. I was destined to remain an insignificant no one.

Until he made me believe I was special...and then he destroyed me.

I never thought I'd see Phoenix Walker again after he broke my heart, but fate had other plans. One tour. Eight weeks. Forty shows. Countless opportunities to make him pay.

The world thought he was a god...but I know the truth.

I don't usually do rocker romances because usually the cringe is so bad the entire time. I was surprised by this one, it had a lot more depth and seemed to go on forever in the best way. Performances were good, story was good. Overall I'd recommend.

better than I expected

I read the book right after it came out and LOVED IT! My only drawback is I wish we got more of the ending and finding out if Phoenix got back in the band and all of that. But I finally got around to doing audible. I just listened to this book after I read it months ago. I was so much more emotional this go round because it was so much more hearing the pain and happiness than in your mind. I love Ashley jade and her ability to portray stories we can relate too. Always recommend this book!😭

Loved this book!!

This book is beautiful, amazing and oh sooo spicy. I can’t believe it took me this long to read it. This book had a hold on me from the get go, I stayed up until 4am reading it, to only sleep 4 hours and read the rest. I loved the plus size rep, and the honesty of it. I just loved this book! Now excuse me while I go try to calm my book hangover.

Obviously I really liked this book! I loved all the narrators, they brought all the great characters to life. Characters I hope to see more of eventually. I only found one thing a bit irritating toward the end but it may be due to my own mother suffering from dementia. It’s a horrible disease. Spoilerish below

Dementia is a terminal disease. Anyone with a relative suffering and they do suffer know that death can come on quickly. Although grief with any death is natural there can be preparation with a terminal disease. I do understand for the ending to be so fantastic it had to be the way it was but it bothered me how naive Lennon was. That and she just wouldn’t hear what Phoenix kept telling her.

This s my third time listenening

Definitely a 5 star listen for me! Great story and performance! It was a long listen but I still found myself hoping for more.
