This was my first Shain Rose and I loved it!! Jameson and Mia are relationship goals.

Behind Closed Doors by Shain Rose was such a fun, addictive read for me. I loved Mia so much — especially her quirky love for her plants. The way she names and talks to them added such a sweet, funny layer to her character and made her feel really real.

One of my favorite parts of the book was the relationship she builds with Frannie. Their bond was so wholesome and heartfelt, and you could really see how much Mia cared about being a good influence in her life.

I also loved the moment when Mia stood up for herself, especially knowing Frannie was watching. It showed so much strength and growth, and it made me respect her even more as a character.

This book had great tension, romance, and heart, and I flew through it. Definitely a 4⭐️ read for!

This book has it all! The romance, action, suspense, secret society - it’s all super exciting and you just can’t stop listening! Oh, and the whole nanny-single dad thing? Yes please! The narrators are excellent as well. You just can’t go wrong with this one!!

Outstanding

Have I been living under a rock? HOW is this my first Shain Rose book? This was outstanding and I loved every single moment of it. Dark mafia/secret society vibes, a single dad MMC, a sassy but kind FMC, and enough action and spice to keep the pace moving. I read this is one sitting and was completely hooked from the very first chapter. I am so invested in all of the side characters too so I will be reading the rest of Rose’s backlist while I wait for the next book in this series. An absolute must read!!!
