Loved the story

Good story, antagonist gets his due. Slow growing live with plenty of spice.
Voice acting is superb. I already read book 3 narrated by Troy Duran. They brought him in to do the few lines Lachlan has in this book and I LOVE that! I hate it in a series when whoever is narrating does a voice I know. This is above and beyond!

What a messy relationship we have here! Ewan and Darcy turn out to be relatives! What Ewan doesn’t know is that Darcy is not a blood relative and has a child now! He is unaware that this child belongs to him due to an accident. Ewan is very protective of Darcy and will do anything and everything to keep her safe. He finds it very hard to give her up to his best friend who needs a wife.

What happens when the truth comes out and all the secrets are revealed? Loved getting both points of view and really made the story better.

one night stand

This is a compelling story of life in the mafia and a one-night stand. I could not wait to see how this book ended. It does contain some violence and rape that occurred in the past, not with the main characters. Darcy spent one night with a man she did not know. Five years later he is back to talk her into marrying his best friend.

Great Irish accents 🔥

Another book that I enjoyed from Deborah but,I have to admit that I liked Savage King a little better.

Darcy and Ewen meet in the sinfulness of ways and ened up making a permanent connection. 5 years later when Ewen goes to Ireland to get a wife for his boss,he finds Darcy again. The lust and chemistry is still there between them, enough where he finds it's too hard to let her go.

The forbidden aspect was just right,I found myself yelling "she's not really related by blood!" 😂.
If you like all the tropes and a short story with smallish plot then will love this read . Guaranteed with a sweet happy ending🖤

Forbidden Age Gap Mafia Romance

Sinful Vows by Deborah Garland is a forbidden age gap secret child mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lexi Evans, DB West, and Troy Duran. This is the first book in the Astoria Royals series.

I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Ewan and Darcy. It was extremely messy, but I couldn't help but root for them. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Lexi Evans, DB West, and Troy Duran did an amazing job on the narration. I loved that they performed this book as a duet narration. It really brought the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a mafia romance, forbidden romance, age gap romance, or dark romance.
