Arranged Marriage

An enjoyable dark mafia romance which introduces us to the Volante crime family. It's my first book by this author and is well-written and smooth-flowing. The storyline is hot, and the characters are well-drawn. This book tells the story of Alessandro and Emelia, an innocent young woman working in her grandfather's hotel in Italy, who, just before her 21st birthday, discovered that she had been promised in marriage to Alessandro Volante. Having grown up sheltered and ignorant of her grandfather's true profession, she is not prepared for what awaits her.

The chemistry between Alessandro and Emelia is palpable and hot as they navigate the early days of their marriage and grow to love each other.

The narration by Charlotte Claremont and Wen Ross is very well done.

Spicy

Super spicy! I personally prefer more action but I sure do enjoy the spice! I continued listening because of the spice and kept waiting for my sustenance.

He’s a jerk. I’m usually a fan of the guys, but I don’t like him. My ice melted a little towards the end.
