Complicated Love

I enjoyed the characters and the story line. I enjoy a book that reels you in and you feel you have to find out what happens to the couple!

Great story but the author needs duet narration on books as the dual narration just was not good at all!

This book would have been very good IF they had used true DUET narration as the dual narration was really bad. The story itself was good but sadly the narrators I’m sure did their best. The female narrator spoke sooo fast that I had to slow her down manually in the audible app.

Age gap romance done right

Got here because I am a Lucy Rivers fan and she recommended this one on her social media. I am so glad I took her rec!

There are times where age gap romances just don’t vibe with me or worse the FMC comes across annoying to me. Not this one! Loved how they came together and the very real and honest conversations they had about their relationship. The FMC is about 20 years younger but they are definitely in the same emotional place for a relationship.

It’s also a ex BF’s dad romance which these can give me a yuck but I loved how the author treated the father son relationship as well as the one between the exes.

I listened and read to this one. Loved the audio by Lucy Rivers and Thor Thom. Dual style narration can be tough to get into sometimes but not this. You are taken in by the wonderful writing and narration and fall into the story.

Tor Thom and Lucy Rivers are outstanding narrators for this story.

Here we have Kendall and Knox. A big age gap. A forbidden love. Kendall falls in love with Knox, her ex boyfriend’s dad. Whoopsie.

I have to be honest I couldn’t stop listening to this story. Besides two of my favorite narrators gracing my ears, there are the secrets, the lies, the eventual revelations, it’s all compelling storytelling.

Now that Jenna Hartley has drawn me into Knox’s world and his family, (all billionaires by the way) I’m definitely going to head into book 2 soon!

well this sucks you in

okay this story will suck you in this is the first book I've ever read of this author and I am pretty sure this is not going to be my last this story holy Toledo it sucked me in right away I don't know if it was because it was a bit forbidden like the title at first confused me but then when the story started and I realized she dated the Sun but was attracted to the father I was like oh boy this was definitely one of those forbidden stories he's like 20 years older than her and boy oh boy the anticipation the secrecy it was just it was all there it was great .had a lot of angst to it. I definitely would recommend
