Ten years ago, I broke the heart of the girl I loved, and she ran from me, never giving me a chance to explain, leaving me devastated.

Now Lottie is back and working in my club. Which gives me the chance to put things right. I know she's hiding a secret, but I can't walk away. When she enters an auction to sell her body, I refuse to let another man touch what is mine.

I offer her a way out, a marriage of convenience that will benefit us both. The contract says we'll stay married for a year. But she was mine then, she's mine now, and I'm never letting her go again.

When I was young, Lincoln was the hero in my story. The boy who promised me forever. Until the day I found out it was all a lie. Now, ten years later, he's the villain who holds my future in his hands.

Drowning in debt and determined to protect the one person that means the world to me, I agree to auction off the one thing I have left to sell: my virginity.

With no place to hide, I face the man who still makes my pulse quicken. But I have demands of my own. I'll give him my body for a year, but he'll never have my heart again. And he can never find out the truth of what happened ten years ago.

Contains mature themes.

Loved the chemistry and the back story between Lottie and her man, but the male narrator sounded too old for the age of the character.

Story was good. Male narrator sounded too old.

It could of being shorter at times it repeated over things. But, overall it was good.

I absolutely loved this! Both narrators were great. Elle and Christopher were an amazing duo, but I absolutely adored Elle’s narration! She was perfectly what I expected Lottie to sound like if she were real.

The story…they both lost each other by keeping some serious secrets from each other. I’m so glad that they were able to get past them. I just hate how much Linc hurt Lottie throughout the entire thing. Lottie had this amazingly huge heart and was able to forgive him. I’m so glad that she made him work to win her back and didn’t cave in to him after the first sorry I didn’t mean it.
Definitely a book to get lost in!

I am an avid reader. It has been so refreshing to read this book. It had everything. Great story line that was unpredictable, great spice, and actual character development. The story was very realistic. My only complaint is the male narrator. He sounded like someone much to older uncle for the age of the character he was reading for. Otherwise, great read.

This story was great. I loved the characters & Elle Sonali as the female narrator. But Christopher Anthony needs to narrate true crime or mob stories. He is not a romance narrator. He was awful!

Great story but horrible male narrator
