What type of man sleeps with a married woman?

Stokely Robeson is not the type of man who usually comes to mind, but he is a man who, in following his heart, has found himself in an awkward web of love from which there is no painless escape.

I enjoyed this book a great deal. I loved that it kept me wanting to know what is going to happen next. It was great to be from Michigan and hear all of the references to places I know.

The book was the audible version of a page-turner. I look forward to what I hope will be sequels, as the ending was pretty abrupt. The characters were well-written, and the descriptions of Detroit made me nostalgic. The only minor issue that I had was with the performer's mispronunciation of several words and names. While distracting, though, it didn't take away from a strong novel by an excellent writer!

I look forward to more!

Loved the details and especially the Detroit landmark references. Made it easy for me to imagine each character in my mind. Well written and easy to follow. GREAT JOB Sabin, I'm so proud of you!

The book was refreshing with the perfect mix of romance and surprise. Would have never guessed the turn of events. Waiting on the sequel to see how the characters continue to evolve. Great depiction of a strong black father image.
