Dead, snarky heroine? Check.

Dead, sarcastic BFF? Check.

Murdered ghost stuffed in a locker? Check.

Death is not what Bridget Sway expected. Not at all.

The afterlife is a mess of bureaucracy littered with nonsensical rules. It's a fashion disaster for a uniform and a job that doesn't pay. It's a heinous communal living situation with housemates who have no concept of privacy or personal space. And it's a handsome parole officer who is a stickler for those nonsensical rules that no one has bothered to explain.

As if all of that wasn't bad enough, someone has stuffed a dead ghost in her locker...and the afterlife police are ready to pin the murder on her.

The bad accents were very distracting. I had a difficult time engaging with the storyline.

The extremely bad Southern Belle accent for Eleanor

Enjoyable book. The narrator did a wonderful job. The story was good with a few twist and turns. On to book 2.

I loved this series from start to finish. Great characters, unique subject, and sometimes really funny. I hope there are more to come.

Awesome series

I tried.
I really really did.
I didn't like Bridget the MC enough to care if her name ever got cleared.
I didn't like Oz enough to put up with his horrid sexism (treating a person you just met in this life or the afterlife, like property, is never a good look--regardless of how "hot" someone thinks you are).
I didn't like the lack of world building--I didn't want all the information at the start, but some info would've made me care a little more about the Afterlife.
The narration was good.
The story for me, not so much.

I DNF this Audio Book

I couldn't even make it thru the first book... maybe it's for someone else.. but honestly it drags and and the story is sadly slow
