Beyond Tuesday Morning by New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury is a moving story of second chances, faith after loss, and the healing power of love--perfect for readers who cherish redemptive contemporary Christian romance.

Three years after the terrorist attacks on New York City, Jamie Bryan has found meaning amid her grief by volunteering at St. Paul's, the memorial chapel across from where the Twin Towers once stood. Each day she meets people still haunted by that day--including two men who stir something unexpected within her. One is a firefighter, scarred yet steadfast; the other, a police officer from Los Angeles whose kindness and faith draw her in.

But when Jamie learns that he's the brother of Eric Michaels--the man who once lived with her in the painful aftermath of 9/11--her fragile peace shatters. Certain she can't open her heart again, Jamie retreats into her work and her memories. Yet through the persistence of a man who refuses to give up, her curious young daughter, and the journal left behind by her late husband, Jamie may finally discover the courage to move beyond one Tuesday morning.

Continue Karen Kingsbury's beloved 9/11 Series with Beyond Tuesday Morning--a tender, faith-filled story of renewal, love, and the hope that rises from heartbreak.

loved the storyline, and the narration, but didn't care for the change in the voice when God's words were spoken

Sweet read

It's obvious from the other reviews that people are disappointed with Karen's books because of the "religious" tone so as long as you understand that's what you are getting, this book is EXCELLENT. I don't usually read fiction but couldn't put this one (and One Tuesday Morning) down until I was finshed. I am a Christian woman and love that there is a fiction book out there with so much Christian emphasis. This book actually helped me with my faith issues and helped me with my view of God. Actually changed it a little. So I highly recommend this book as long as you understand exactly what you are getting.

Would you listen to Beyond Tuesday Morning again? Why?

Yes I would listen to this book again because I enjoyed it so much it was a really very special love story

Have you listened to any of Kathy Garver’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I didn't want it to end ! I kept rewinding it listening to bits over and over again so that it would last longer. I was really sad to see it end.

Any additional comments?

I've listened to other titles by Karen Kingsbury this is by so far my favorite I actually didn't like some of the others so this one was something special

For once the sequel is better than the original

I definitely liked Tuesday Morning better than Beyond Tuesday Morning, but I really enjoyed hearing the follow up about Jamie and Clay. The only reason I gave the performance 3 stars was because it was obnoxious to me that when people were praying or talking in their heads, it was as if they were in a tunnel talking. Aside from that, I enjoyed it.

I almost had to stop listening as the narrator was so bad . . . Her male voice and New York accent were the worst I have ever heard.

Terrible Narrator
