After a tornado rips through her town, store owner Abigail comes across a piece of fabric from a wedding dress among the devastation. Abigail is moved to start collecting other swatches of fabric she finds - her neighbor’s kitchen curtains, a man’s necktie, a dog’s bed - which she stashes in shopping bags. As she pursues her seemingly absurd quest, horrible realities spark the question, “What kind of a God would allow such tragedy?” As she struggles to reconcile her right to happiness amidst the destruction, Abigail begins piecing together a patchwork quilt from the salvaged fabric in hopes it will bring some peace. But a new relationship with Justin, a contractor, may require too much of her fragile heart. Will her pain and questions of faith give way to the courage to love?

such a sweet storyline

I loved it all. Great narration and storyline. I couldn't wait to listen to each chapter.

Great story

Although somewhat predictable, the story was a great reminder that God can and does bring beauty from ashes, and He often uses difficult circumstances to draw us closer to Him. I couldn’t stop listening.

Totally unexpected!

Wow! I was not prepared for the gold in this book. I have been craving more good reads, and I just found them!

Great Book! Original and

I loved this book from the first chapter! Zane did a great job with everything from very real excitement, and so many emotions and feelings, many know to well. She had great, believable characters and brought them all together in this wonderful, heart wrenching, happy and unique book! It also portrays a real life lesson and shows just how much people need family. Blood or not. Narration was great as well. I will listen to it again.
