Allen Farrington and Sacha Meyers chart a crash course through the pitfalls of modern economic theory and the world's fiat money system with a hopeful destination in Bitcoin is Venice. What if a global, digital, sound, open-source, programmable currency was monetizing from absolute zero? How might our conception of capital change? What novel forms of capital formation and economic production will become possible? How might they affect the design of social institutions? Can Bitcoin bring about a new Renaissance? With Farrington and Meyers, the discussion is as revolutionary as the answers.

A well written, researched book on where we are in the current system and where we can go with a new one.

A logical first principles book on the future of money

Deep and dense but absolutely spot on! A must read if you’re looking to deep dive on the importance and significance of bitcoin to society and capital markets! Highly recommend!

One of the best!

Guy Swann is an excellent narrator. And this is probably my 12th book on the subject of bitcoin period. The book is well thought out but the storyline is less cohesive than other Bitcoin narratives I’ve listened to. I would recommend specific chapters but probably not the entire book. It is educational and makes some convincing arguments. Some I will probably even use myself. But I did come off more technical than narrative to me. If you were a hard-core Bitcoin or like me you’re going to read it anyway. But it’s not for everyone.

Some really good analogies and great arguments for the positive case for bitcoin.

This is by far my favorite book about Bitcoin. Also, Guy Swann is great. He doesn’t do that monotone, mono rhythm thing that other narrators do.

Favorite Bitcoin Book

This is one of my favourite books on bitcoin. While not one I would recommend as the first book (would rather recommend “the Bitcoin standard” or “Check your financial privilege”) it is one to follow up with.

Mindblowing
