enjoyable

I liked the story, it was overall pretty good....but there is a sex scene. just for those who want to know. For me I like to know.

Surprisingly good!

I was totally surprised how much I got into this story, considering I picked it up from the plus catalog. Helped to make the time pass quickly as I removed the popcorn from my ceilings. Looking forward to the next in the series!

New series for me

I had read some rough reviews on this series but I already had the book so I thought I would start it…I can always quit if need be. Well, I didn’t need to quit. I quite liked the Kit and definitely identified with her origin story having had a tough start in life myself. I enjoyed her smart mouth and her loving heart that softened for others in trouble even after the way much of the world treated her. The characters that inhabited her world kept the book interesting. If the rest of the series is as easy to like as Book 1, Blade Song, then I will continue to enjoy.

this book kept me listening non stop... the author clearly has a sense of humor and the performer reading this can tell a story with rich embellishment... i loved it
