Family intrigue on the Vineyard

Loved the psychological depth of the characters and their unique personal backgrounds. Also enjoyed the Martha’s Vineyard setting. On to the next book in the Blaine family trilogy.

Great Western Audio.

I enjoy all of the western audios of Louis Lamour. There are different voices doing the reading but they all draw your attention to the story and it is easy to imagine yourself riding alongside the characters.

Great beginning...

The story does a great job of introducing this world. The characters are interesting and starting to develop well. I couldn’t give it 5 stars due to the narration. It isn’t terrible, but the female characters voices... not so much.

hot

well.. idek what to say. its fricken hot. the heat is really tangible between viper and halo. and Charlie David's voice makes it even hotter. oomph.

Boring

I had expected more, the story was boring, characters were very unlikeable, i was glad when it finally finished. Didn't like the reader either, he has that annoying crackle, really annoyed me. I'd give it a miss
