The follow-up to Life is Good, in which Trixie expounded on the good life while pondering some "eternal mysteries" such as "did Shakespeare really write his plays himself or did his dog help?"

This inspiring collection of observations will offer heartfelt insights from the vantage point of doggy heaven. Most importantly, this book will serve as a cherished reminder that the love of our canine best friend is a love that lasts more than a lifetime.

My sister just gifted me this wonderful message as she thought it would accompany on a morning walk, alone, after the most recent and unexpected passing of our dear Balta, the rescued Siberian Husky. Balta knew and taught bliss. As did Trixie and all our fur family members, I am sure. Fresh off our loss, I found such comfort in Trixie’s “voice” and the simple prescription to finding bliss - from Balta’s eyes. I laughed out loud, wore a smile and found peace and comfort this morning. Thank you for this book, Trixie (and Dean). I’ll be replaying it often.

Bliss forever. Love, Balta

I found the book cute, though I enjoyed more of the one liners than the general story. Part of the reason could be that I have very atypical pets (a dog who doesn't like peanut butter and cats that are very social and get along pretty well with the dog). I did not like the narrator of the audiobook, I found the voice to be very distracting to the story.

Cute Story

Oh...to be a dog! They see everything so much clearer than we do. They don't complicate things.
A wonderful short read that will teach you (if you are teachable) to be a great human!

A MUST read...

This book is written from the perspective of Dean Koontz's dog Trixie. A very cute, laugh-out-loud tribute to dog-lovers everywhere. While listening I pictured my dog Patches speaking in the very same voice as the narrator. Hilarious!

I recently lost my lab Squeaker. This book was so helpful in the grieving process in that it radiates warmth and positivity. I couldn't stop smiling the entire hour. Thanks Trixie ❤
