3.5-4 wonderful stars

This is a totally different type of story for Ms Hardt and I was wondering IF she could pull it off. It was a good start. I’m hooked into both main characters as well as some sideline ones. And isn’t that the goal....?? So for now, I’m ready for book 2 to see how the story unfolds.

Ok, but marketing ploy cliffhanger

I probably will not buy the next book in the series. The cliffhanger irritated me.

Was a good start

I liked where the book was going but it was a bit short. I just purchased part 2. Maybe it could have been just one book. Part 1 I felt ended a bit abruptly.

I wanted to read this series for a long time. That you for putting this on audible escape. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of this series. Great narrators for this story.
