New favorite series!

My new favorite series! Can’t wait for the next one. Listened to both in the span of 2 weeks

Can't wait for the next one.

I often read crime thrillers and like ones that don't have much gore. I also like getting to know the characters and laughing out loud which I find with this author. Seriously looking forward to more books from her, and I enjoy the narrator's style.

Second book curse?

First know that this book does not stand alone. You will need to read the first book otherwise could be confusing. The story was mainly about incest which was quite depressing,... The author needs to know when to have characters exit - Bridget. She is so low-class and trashy. In the last book she tries to trap Ryan with a pregnancy knowing it wasn't his. In this book she is shagging a married man (yes married). Of course the relationship is troubled so she turns to Ryan for help and right on cue, she bones him like the slag she is. Ryan's sister loyalty is misplaced with Bridget also made way too much of a big deal of keeping her pregnancy from parents. Wish Rose was still around, maybe he will come back but will need to have Ryan tested for STD's from Bridget. The story/crime had a lot going on, so I kept reading. Five stars for the new boss on the way, that should be fun, though I am not sure if I will go on with the next installment which was set up in the last few pages.
