this is slowly starting to become one of my favorite series of all time, I'm definitely enjoying this series

Good for walking

This audiobook is exactly what I need while having my walking exercise in my neighborhood.

Dresden Files on Steroids

Sometimes the best that can be said about an audio book is that you just couldn't stop listening. Essentially the audio version of "I couldn't put it down". Either description fits Born of Hatred. Is it a great book? Even for a fan of this kind of "urban fantasy" it's not great. But it really is quite good and far better than some. I'll keep at the series for as long as McHugh keeps writing it. Or at least until the next Dresden Files.

The book contains explicit violence and torture. So far, anyone tortured by the main character were obviously guilty and the tortures resulted in useful information.

Great buildup. history and backstories intriguing

This series is addictive. the narrator is great an the inflections of menace or humor come through. the background of this universe has me wanting for more!
