Britta & the Beach Boy

I really enjoyed this marriage of convenience rom com book. I loved Britt’s and Dex’s early connection. The easy banter they share is perfection. This story was such a great blend of laugh out loud and teary eyed moments that kept me engaged the whole time. While I have read a couple books in the past that have a bit of surfing in it as a past time, this is the first book where the main character was a pro surfer and I was totally here for it. It was a great end of summer read, and I would recommend the series.

This is book one in the Love in LA series. I honestly can’t wait till next book comes out in the series. I just love visiting this LA surf city.

Britta & the Beach Boy

I absolutely loved this story. The meet cute and the swoony kiss in the first chapter was so fun. I loved Dex and Britta’s chemistry, the support they show each other, the emotions feel so real. I really enjoyed reading this story and then listening as well, the narrators add so much emotion and make it come to life. Highly recommend listening to this book.

Incredible narration!

Corinne Davies and Antony Davis did an incredible job voicing these characters!! The accents were the cherries on top of a delectable story!!

This story is more than just a romcom! I loved how Brittany wrote of deeper topics of grief, caretaker burn out, and how relationships can form when work is put into them.
This story had wit, humor, slow burn romance, I love a good marriage of convenience story, and this sweet storyline nailed it for me! It was a joy to read Britta and Dex’s story!
