Glenn Beck, the New York Times bestselling author of The Great Reset, showcases his distinctive humor in taking on the political landscape in his fight to fix America—before it’s too late.

As the most important presidential election in our history looms, ask yourself: Are America’s finances in better shape than they were four years ago? Or are we still BROKE?

THE FACTS.

THE FUTURE.

THE FIGHT TO FIX AMERICA—BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.

Our nation is financially broke, but that’s just a side effect of our broken spirit, our broken faith in government, the broken promises by our leaders, and a broken political system that has centralized power at the expense of individual rights. How did we get into this mess? Glenn Beck thinks the answer is pretty simple: Because we’ve turned our backs on the Constitution.

Few of us have ever seen the whole picture, and politicians have done everything in their power to hide the truth. Broke exposes what we’re really facing—and how to fix it. Packed with great stories from history, invaluable teachable moments, and Glenn Beck’s trademark combination of entertainment and enlightenment, Broke makes the case that when you’re traveling in the wrong direction, slight course corrections won’t cut it—you need to take drastic action. Through a return to individual rights, an uncompromising adherence to the Constitution, and a complete rethinking about the role of government in a free society, Glenn exposes the idea of “transformation” for the progressive smokescreen that it is, and instead builds a compelling case that restoration is the only way forward. With this awareness, it’s much easier to develop a realistic plan for uniting all Americans around the concept of shared sacrifice. After all, this generation may not be asked to storm beaches, but we are being asked to do something just as critical to preserving freedom.

What did you love best about Broke?

I really loved how in the beginning of the book Beck talks about the Romans and there government. How the policies of finance lead to fall of a great empire. Then to detail the fiscal policy, in short, of each president from the first to the last; a great relation.

What did you like best about this story?

Again, it was the beginning.

Glenn Beck fills this book with many facts and numbers. It does get a bit hard to follow from time to time and the numbers get a bit boaring and mondain, but for the most part the book is well written and enjoyable. It is well worth the time and in the end you will, unfortunately, feel like we as a nation is doomed if things don't change.

Scary to say the least

The book covers a ton of detail, and it explains just how far we have come. The entire system is unbelievably broken and is not what it is advertised or designed to be by our founding fathers. Very educational with great history lessons which are then brought forward to show their relevance and application today. Read it or continue to be quietly led to bankruptcy by our progressive system.

I loved this book. It really spelled it all out and did it in very logical arguments. The data is there. I know data can be manipulated to suit one's purposes but it seemed rather thorough. I enjoyed how Mr Beck didn't follow party lines all the time and outlined things that both republican and democrat presidents did wrong in bringing us to the brink of financial collapse. I enjoyed hearing the pep talk about how the federal government should not be telling us much of anything yet we seem to be complacent in letting them take all the power they want. I was also delighted to finally hear someone else bring up the constitutionality of property taxes. If you think about it, you can own your home but because you can never really own the land, you by default don't/can't own your home because it can be taken by the government for failure to pay your property tax. It is a crock. Anyway, I would encourage you to all read this book. It changed my views and opinions and it might open your eyes a little wider and light a small flame under your ???

Finally book that has done the reasearch...
