Scarlet is the Queen

I absolutely love Scarlet. I don’t think anyone gives her enough credit, but she’s such a strong capable woman, and everything she went through to get to where she is was heartbreaking! I love the Kingston’s siblings and their text threads!

Cade is the best single dad, and the way he fights for Scarlet and Brynn is amazing!

The only confusing part is rereading this after going into the second generation book and getting Brynn’s story, her wedding doesn’t match the epilogue to this story!

the ice queen's heart thaws

Normally, not a big fan of second chance romance, but I was pulled into this story from the beginning. I am very much enjoying getting to know the Kingston family as each finds their HEA. This is Scarlett's story. In the previous books, she comes across as an ice queen with hints that she hiding a cinnamon roll center. In this book, we get to know her and her history. She shows her true self in how she interacts with Brynlee, and she opens herself to love despite her fears.

The audiobook is fantastic. I love how different narrators are used for each book in the series.

Absolutely the best love story!!! This was a fabulous story definitely hope there will be more coming about the other characters in the story the narrator’s were fabulous the author did such a wonderful job building the characters I fell in love with all of them

The importance of family and Unconditional Love.

I love this combination of books, that Mary the different relationships together friends, and family sweater all about.

LOVE Scarlett's story!

We finally get the story behind this terrifying woman we've seen glimpses of in the other books - Scarlett. I love seeing a strong FMC and actually love that Scarlett doesn't put up with any BS. I enjoyed seeing her story with Cade and omg Brynlee is the cutest little kid! That epilogue had me tearing up, along with a few other parts of this book too!
