Pine River was supposed to be a new start for me. And it was, especially attending school with my three overprotective cousins, who were the triplets at the top of the social hierarchy. Except they weren’t alone there, and the first day when I came to school, I saw him.

He was a golden god with dark and piercing eyes—looking like he wanted to eat me up.

OMG, reading addicted

I absolutely loved this story, some parts had me cussing, but damn. Scout and Ramsey had that chemistry that you don't see everyday, but mom coming for granddad at the end Priceless.
It had two of my favorite narrator's. I can't wait for more

Next Series!

loved the book, and I am excited about the series and how the characters develop. There was no epilogue, so I know there will be at 1 more book! narration was amazing as always!

Not Your Average Teen Romance

Way better than your average high school romance. Great storyline and I love the protective nature of the male lead that is accompanied by a push from him to help the female lead find her strength. Sexy and a solid storyline to accompany the steamy scenes.

A new town full of characters to love

Complex emotions and high school shenanigans merge to make one fascinating story. There were so many intriguing characters in this story that make me hope the author is planning a return trip to Pine River. I loved the relationships (romantic, familial, social, and ride-or-die) and how each dynamic impacted other relationships and the overall story. While the teenagers were the primary focus of the story, I also enjoyed seeing their relationships with the adults in their lives and how decisions made by the different adults impacted them, for better or worse, and frequently helped drive the story forward.
