I have so many things to say about this book.

I’ll start with the good: the narrators! They were absolutely incredible! They truly delivered a performance, and it added so much to the authenticity of the audiobook (but not to the plot.. I’ll admit there were plenty of moments that made me go “what? What does that even had to do with anything?” but for now we’re focusing on the positives...).

Second, the spice! 100/10. Genuinely excellent writing in that department 🤌🏻🌟 There was a twist involving his wedding ring... Iykyk.😏 Let’s just say I giggled like a fool and couldn’t stop smiling once my jaw dropped (the only twist that actually surprised me 🤣).

And now for the less good parts, there was a lot of drama and information that had absolutely nothing to do with the suspense. It didn’t add anything to the story and felt unnecessarily excessive. I didn’t get answers to my questions (maybe I will in the next books... who knows?), and I’m a bit confused by their reactions to what happened... If I were in their shoes, I’d be throwing up or at least panicking afterward. They acted like it was just a regular Tuesday, like this kind of thing happens all the time 🤷🏻‍♀️

She supposedly “seduces” him innocently and “punishes” him, but honestly… in hindsight, she’s just sleeping with her husband, that’s it. I really didn’t get where the punishment was 🤣

But okay girl, I’m hoping the next book in the series will be better 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I listened to this book all day long. I couldn’t stop. The banter, the lust, the spice…wowza. I loved Haz and Ramsey. It has great suspense. Great story. Excellent narration.

Watch out T.L. Swan, Maggie’s coming in HOT!!!

Romance can sometimes be predicable, cookie cutter or simple. This is the opposite!!! Shows how complex people can be and how love comes with flaws. Outstanding performance by the readers. All around great listen. Just be prepared to blush!!!
