Wow... Just wow!

I read Burned By Passion a few months ago and really enjoyed it! Blake and Kira's sex scenes were very steamy and their love was tender and beautiful. I enjoy reading about those push and pull love stories with a little angst... and Burned By Passion definitely delivers. What Kira needed, Blake provided with everything he had--- all his heart and soul. Very sweet story. I also liked Blake's father Bretton and his love for and support of Kira. I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn't wait to listen to the audible edition. I was blown away by Pepper's read!

Pepper Laramie does an amazing job bringing ALL the characters in this passionate romance to life. Pepper's delivery of Blake's lines is flawless! She captures his British accent extremely well. She injects a wonderfully distinct energy into each character's dialogue; She almost makes it seem like a different person is reading each part! Wonderful job, Pepper! Dez Burke's words + Pepper Laramie's voice = Literary Gold!

I can hardly wait to hear Pepper read Skin Deep-- my favorite Dez Burke romance. THAT will be literary platinum!!

Need more sex

I have listened to Gents 4 Ladies on audible.com and it had more sex scenes than this book. And Gents 4 Ladies is shorter. Please don't make another character like Kierra. I mean really. You have a young lady in her 20s who is pregnant and you have a rich man marry her, and she waits for four months to have sex with him again. Not believable. I grew up poor, and on food stamps. I don't know anyone in our community that will not jump and chance to marry their "baby daddy", and he was rich. I think more time should have been spent on more of the sex when they finally had sex again.

The story was to short. Needed a long plot with more drama, romance and twist.

This the first time I had listen to Ms.Laramie performances and I got to say I like what she was doing when she was narrating Burned by Passion.
